I bought The Geezer’s Hideout a few years ago as a place where I could go and hide for a few days with no phone, no pool, no pets and no cigarettes.

You see, being a CPA there are times of the year when there is great stress on me, people worry about paying the government more than they should, and of course if they did not plan ahead, it’s my fault they owe the government. Is that a run on sentence? like the lawyers write?

Oh Well.

I found this place to be just what I needed, I could do nothing and just unwind for a few days and recharge to brain. Then I found I could take a few days and get things done that needed NO INTERRUPTIONS and this was the place. Fantastic!

Inviting friends from the cities (San Diego, Lakewood, L.A., Fresno, Sacramento and Redding) to come stay for a few days or a week was an enlightening experience. They all loved the place, and suggested I should make it available to the public as a vacation rental. And the few bucks they slipped me was quite convincing. Yes I included the cash on my tax return.

So I said to myself, why not, it would help pay the bills. You would not believe how much is involved to getting all the permits, licenses etc. needed be a vacation rental. I did all that was necessary to have a legal vacation rental I can share with you.

If you like peace and quite, you will love The Geezer’s Hideout.

I assume you know, any CPA worth their salt wants good food.

 

 

There are animals that will come to visit. We do ask that you do not pet or feed the animals, they are wild and you could get injured.
